Tonight we (I, Jessa) carved our yearly pumpkin. We roasted the seeds and then I made some pumpkin pie bites. I love this time of year!I didn't use a template of any sort to carve the pumpkin, I drew a face and cut it out. And honestly...it looks like a muppet. My pumpkin looks like Evil Bert. (Bert & Ernie, people.) It's weird. I have an evil muppet in my dining area. It'll go out on the terrace when the wind has died down and won't knock it off the grill.
