Everyone except for me took pictures this weekend as Chase was in town with Amanda.
Before Chase came into town I visited my Dad and asked him if he remembered Chase's girlfriend's name. He said he didn't so I gave him a hint and said it started with an "A." He threw out A names but didn't get it so I said "A-M" and he yelled out, "Americus?!"
I have a feeling that could be a new nickname...
I HOPE they had a good time, it was mostly filled with visiting friends and relatives and Chase making sure to hit all his favorite Utah food places. They hit Training Table, Cafe Rio, Crown Burger, La Frontera and Ballard's Iceberg. Actually Chase had never had Cafe Rio but he was impressed.
We visited all family living in this state including Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. It was a weekend-long family fest! Chase caught up with friends but as far as hanging out and doing fun Utah things he didn't come at the best time of year. Neither of them snowboard or ski and they didn't bring snow gear to go sledding. Oh well, there's always summer.
It was nice seeing them since he hadn't been to Utah since...my wedding. Hopefully he can come in the summer, when it's not so gross outside.
