Results...and Hermana Norton

Well...

For those of you who have been under a rock, or for those of you who haven't been subjected to hours of ESPN...

Boise won by 3 points last night. It looked bad for a while but they pulled it off!

We all got in our Boise gear first thing and since I had decorated for the party the night before - we were ready. After that we headed to the mall and were approached by Boise Fans and people asking what time the game was.

After that we went to the grocery store to get some last minute party stuff and we headed back to mentally prepare.

Once the game started all of the guys got into a zone. There was a lot of yelling especially since Boise got a 17 point lead in the first half! Unfortunately Virginia Tech caught up and they fought hard in the second half. Eventually they pulled it off and beat Virginia Tech. But it was a real nail biter!

Brady loves Brett's 49ers helmet. He even slept with it.

Boise & San Francisco Helmets.

He really couldn't get enough of the helmets.

This was after a much needed touchdown with 1 minute left, but there was still a chance Boise could lose so...
There were a lot of nerves - I believe this was with 30 seconds left and it was up in the air. Yeah - Brady is pantsless but pants are the last thing to worry about when there's 30 seconds left and Virginia Tech still has a chance.

But Boise pulled it off and won. So there was a victory run around the kitchen.

The party was a lot of fun and there were treats galore including really yummy Butterscotch-a-roo's that Katie made. There were also orange and blue cupcakes. It honestly felt like a Bowl Game as apposed to just a season opener - but it was a big one.

In other news: we heard from Kaitlyn finally - I know it's been less than a week - she'll be in the MTC a week tomorrow but we were dying to hear from her. I updated the email and put it all on her blog. It's www.kaitlynkae.blogspot.com if you want to get caught up on what she's up to!
