Lake Tahoe Vacation continued...

Saturday morning rolled around with plans to go fishing!  There's a local farm that's great for family fishing so Brett, Shane, Phil, Chad, Lexi, Ella, Brady, Erik, Amanda, Hunter, McKinley and baby Madelynn.  The rest of us stayed back, but we heard it was a lot of fun!

They caught a few fish to take home. Unfortunately not many of us eat fish.  But that didn't stop them from fishing!

After they got back, Phil & Erik set out to grill their fish, the rest of us had Spaghetti & salad.  Unfortunately Saturday night was the last night with Erik, Amanda and their kids and with Shane too.

The first weekend was a lot of fun in Tahoe and we know the guys all had a fun time hanging out with each other. We were happy once we realized that there was still a full week to enjoy!  And that week went by so fast that it's becoming a blur!  Which days we did what are still a little hazy but I will post pictures:

I believe Monday Phil, Cindy, Chad, Katie & the kids all decided to go to Cars 2.  Brett and I stayed back and walked around Heavenly Village.
We stocked up on the Lake Tahoe shirts and stickers, of course.

Later we met up with everyone at Lunch in Harrah's.

After that we decided to do some more shopping at Heavenly Village:
Brady liked the big bear carving

At a shop called High Chaparral, there were some great western themed clothes and gifts.  Chad decided to sample some:

He added an awesome hat to this ensemble too, but the picture is too blurry to do it justice.

Brady saw this giant fake scorpion and at first was a little nervous around it, but he overcame his fear and started chasing us with it:

It's half his size!

And Brett wanted to try some western clothes too:
While he did rock this coat, it was a little over our price range...once we saw the tag, he very carefully put it back.

Later that night after the kids went to sleep, we tried out a new pizza place, well, new to us, called Godfather's Pizza.
And it was delicious!  If you're ever in South Lake Tahoe and want some pizza, it's a place to try.  I suggest the pineapple and canadian bacon.

Keep an eye out for more posts!
