This was our view of the Lake from our home for the week:

We were all put in charge of a night to make dinner and for Brett & my night we decided on skewers and banana pudding for dessert.
The skewers don't require a ton of preparation, so after they were ready I started on the banana pudding and Brett felt the need to document it:

While we waited for dinner time, it was decided to start the annual Yahtzee tournament. Cindy was the defending champ and a bracket was quickly made. There were two games going. Starting off with Phil against the Champ, Cindy and Lexi against Ella.
Ella got Yahtzee
So did Lexi!
After the first tournaments it was Brett vs. Chad and me vs. Katie. Katie won and so did Chad. After everyone played the winners began playing the winners: Katie vs. Phil & Lexi vs. Chad. As you can see, the Yahtzee tournament is very serious business.
It all came down to Phil and Lexi and Phil ended up being the 2011 Yahtzee Champion. We'll see who steals the title next year!
When it came time for dinner, everyone loaded up their skewers. They had the choice between pork, steak and chicken along with potatoes, carrots, peppers, onions and for the little kids - hot dogs.
While the guys waited for the skewers to cook, they threw the football around:
And because they're tasty, everyone went back for seconds:
After dinner I decided I needed some sunset pictures of Lake Tahoe:
Because Lake Tahoe is not only awesome during the day - it's equally awesome at night!
More pictures to come!
