This was something I was trying really hard to keep reminding Brett...for weeks. So when Boise lost - which they did - he'd be prepared.
Boise put up a good fight though but lost in the end. But it was still a great time had at the Smith house in Colorado, even if it was just a quick trip.
The last two season opener parties have been held at our place so this year we headed to Denver for the party. As always, emotions ran high and it was best to just let the boys have their space - because celebrate or grieve - they're like bulls in a china shop:
Chad says he's not Tebowing, but it looks a lot like Tebowing right here.
At this point things were looking grim. So Ella and Brady came to their aid by giving them a shoulder rub for reassurance.
But it turned out that Boise lost.
The planned outings for Boise this year:
Sept. 20 - BYU vs. Boise
Oct. 27th - Boise vs. Wyoming
Hopefully the rest of the season gets better.
